Structured Cabling/Low Voltage Estimator – Tucson
REPORTS TO:
NETSIAN Technologies Group, Division Manager – Tucson
LOCATION:
Tucson, AZ
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Wilson Electric Services Corp./NETSIAN Technologies Group is seeking an experienced Structured Cabling/Low Voltage Estimator to
manage the estimating efforts for NETSIAN Technologies in our Tucson Division.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide complete and accurate estimates and proposals.
Must be able to read and understand project plans, specifications, and addenda.
Ability to provide detailed material and labor cost estimates by understanding cost and design criteria required by the project.
Provide bill of material based on project requirements or design build concept with little or no customer documentation.
Complete a written project scope for field project kick off meetings.
Follow-up with internal and external customer until bidding process is complete.
Ability to perform post-installation site surveys for the purpose of obtaining useful estimating information and quality control.
Must be able to recommend cost effective alternatives by staying current on projects and installation methodologies.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Comprehensive knowledge of BICSI’s most current Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manuals (TDMM).
Extensive knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA Standards, Voice and Data Inside and Outside Plant Distribution Systems, and other low voltage
systems; Fire Alarm, Nurse Call, Security, CATV, and Public Address Systems.
