NexWatch provides facilities a low-cost entry into advanced access control with the MSR42 Series, a
family of magnetic stripe card readers that are durable, functional, and attractive. Using an ABA Track II
compliant pass-through format, MSR42 Series can read high coercivity magnetic stripe cards in either
direction as they are swiped through the reader.
MRS42 Series readers offer functions that enhance usability and increase security. With die-cast metal
housing, the readers are highly resistant to corrosion, abrasion and vandalism; weatherized versions
provide additional protection against direct exposure to harsh environments. Red and green high-intensity
LEDs provide card read status; a buzzer can be configured to alert the user of a card read or PIN entry
error. MSRK42 adds an extra level of security with an integrated 12-position keypad for entering PIN
numbers to verify ownership of the card.
MSR Series readers can be used with NexSentry 4100 Series, Alto 818SC, and SE 422 Series controllers.
