Your high
voltage system
in safe
hands
With our extensive knowledge of operating and maintaining
high voltage switchgear, Electricity North West are a leading
provider in high voltage maintenance services.
Under the cover of a high voltage maintenance agreement, we will guarantee you peace of
mind that you are fully compliant with current legislation.
Placing the care of your
high voltage system
in safe hands
Why is maintenance
important?
All electrical installations deteriorate over time.
It is essential that your high voltage system
is regularly inspected and maintained to the
relevant legal requirements.
Many deaths and injuries arise from the use
of poorly maintained electrical equipment
and asset owners/operators who have little
knowledge and expertise available in house
to competently work on high voltage electrical
equipment.
By law, owners/operators are required to
provide management systems that will ensure
safe operation and maintenance of equipment
to minimise the risk of injury.
As a minimum, management systems should
include the following:
• An appropriate system of records
• Policies and procedures covering the
installation, commissioning, operation and
maintenance of equipment
• Definitions of the responsibilities and training
requirements for your personnel
• An audit regime to monitor and maintain the
effectiveness of procedures.
It is the operators responsibility to assess
their equipment to identify any potential
risks or issues.
Scheduled maintenance of your high
voltage equipment will demonstrate that
the necessary inspection and testing of
equipment has been carried out.
Our approach
Entrust your system to us and Electricity
North West will ensure that your network will
be expertly managed with all the necessary
safety assurances you need.
With a wealth of experience in servicing
