MATERIALS: Columbia-Minerva Washable Rug Yarn (13/4 oz. pull skeins) - 2 skeins White, 1 skein Hot Pink &
small amount of Avocado
Boye Aluminum or Plastic Crochet Hooks
Sizes I and G
GAUGE: NONE GIVEN (my guess is 3 sc to 1")
SIZES: Small (Medium-Large)
SOLES: With size I hook, ch 7. Starting in 2nd ch from hook, work 6 sc
across, ch 1, turn. Working in sc, inc 1 sc each side every other row twice.
Work on the 10 sc to 9 (10-11) rows from start. Dec 1 sc at end of each of
next 3 rows - 7 sc rem. Work to desired length from start decreasing 1 sc at
end of last row. Fasten off.
Make 2 white and 2 pink. Interline with pellon, if desired. With pink, sl st
together.
UPPER: With Size I hook & White - ch 9. Starting in 2nd ch from hook, work 8
sc across, ch 1 to turn at end of each row. Inc 1 sc each side on next 2 rows
then 1 at end of next row. Work on the 13 sc to 11 rows from start.
SIDES: Work 5 sc, ch 1, turn. Work 1 more row. Dec 1 at end of next row.
Repeat dec at same edge every 3rd row twice more. Work 1 (2-3) more rows.
Fasten off. Leaving 3 sc free at center on last long row, join yarn in next sc, 1
sc in same st and in each sc to end, ch 1, turn. Finish same as other side. With
Size G hook & Pink - on right side sl st all around.
FLOWERS: Make 6. With Pink, ch 2. Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Break
yarn and sew in place. With Avocado embroider lazy daisy leaves. Sew upper
to sole.
