Our Services
Immunology
Asthma
We want every patient to discover a symptom-free,
healthy life through the induction of disease remission.
At Pienkowski MD Clinic, we have experience with the diagnosis and treatment of various allergic syndromes and
comorbid disorders.
At Pienkowski MD Clinic, we approach allergy and immunology care with a specific, patient-tailored approach
that acknowledges the path to wellness will look different
for every person. Many different types of chronic fatigue,
pain, sickness, and other maladies can be addressed
through the study of immunology; often times it serves as
the key that can unlock the door to a healthy lifestyle free
of the symptoms you have grown accustomed to.
This lung condition causes your airways to narrow and
create mucus, making breathing difficult and cause
wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath.
Allergic asthma is the most common type of asthma: 90%
of children and 50% of adults who have asthma suffer
from asthma with an allergy component. To effectively
treat this complex lung disease, patients must be able to
identify the allergenic factors that cause the reaction in
the first place. That is where we come in!
We offer experienced, quality, and friendly health care
services to every patient we see. We want to help you feel
better and live better.

Our Mission
To provide high quality, accessible, comprehensive,
compassionate healthcare to all of our patients, and
to keep serving the communities of East Tennessee for
many years to come.
We like to see ourselves as a small, flexible, fast-moving
team with big ideas. We have friends and partners all over
the world to help us make those ideas come alive.
Allergy Syndrome
Specialized Services
Allergies can come from almost anywhere. Pollen, dust,
food, insect stings, animal proteins, mold, medication,
and chemicals can all be triggers for allergic reactions.
Narrowing down a reaction to its true source is a tricky
task. Thankfully, the team at Pienkowski MD Clinic has
decades of shared experience and always addresses
the fundamental, underlying source of allergenic
abnormalities and engages patients with a comprehensive
treatment plan.
We offer the following special services to diagnose and
treat your allergy syndrome and comorbid conditions:
Once we identify the allergens that are causing your
symptoms, a treatment plan can be recommended.
Treatment plans include a range of solutions such as
avoidance of allergens, medications, and/or allergy
immunotherapy (shots).
Immunotherapy may be subcutaneous and/or oral and
entails immunomodulation through biologicals and drugs,
as well as desensitization procedures. Oral desensitization
and immunization to foods such as peanuts are available
treatment options.
