December 14, 2016—Gift for Life, the gift and home industries’ sole charitable organization, has announced the
launch of a new cause marketing program led by three gift companies – all with owners under the age of 40.
Ann Page, Duke Cannon Supply Co and The Urban Agriculture Company each have pledged to donate $1,500
to Gift for Life from sales raised from a product or products in their lines throughout 2017.
The products in this inaugural Under 40 Cause Marketing Program include: four birthday card designs from
Ann Page LLC, founded by Virginia Thomas; the Handsome Man Grooming Can from Duke Cannon Supply
Company, co-founded by Anthony R. Albanese; and the Poppy “Flower for Life” Organic Flower Grow Kit
from The Urban Agriculture Company, founded by Chad Corzine. (NOTE: Product photos and headshots are
available online at http://bit.ly/2glvGkw.)
“These three companies are all doing extremely well in the marketplace not only because of their quality
products but also because of their community focus and philanthropic spirit,” said Frank Joens, chair of the Gift
for Life board. “We are honored to be able to partner with our industry’s next generation to raise awareness and
much needed funds, and we hope that this first Under 40 initiative helps sparks similar interest among others in
the industry.”
Gift for Life’s Cause Marketing program has raised nearly $70,000 for DIFFA in the last year alone. Recent
cause marketing partners include Archipelago Botanicals, Chavez for Charity, Global Views, Kurt S. Adler, Inc.
and UMBRA, among others. For more information about Gift for Life’s Cause Marketing Program, contact
cause marketing co-chairs, Matt Katzenson ([email protected]) or Nancy Michael
([email protected]).
Gift for Life raises funds to benefit DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS through nationwide
at-market events, cause marketing programs and direct donations. The primary mission of Gift for Life is to
raise funds for DIFFA-granted HIV/AIDS service, education, prevention and advocacy programs across the
U.S. In 2016, DIFFA National granted more than $333,000 to 26 organizations providing treatment, education,
prevention and advocacy.
