Hadiths
What is a Hadith?
Hadiths are the sayings of the prophet Muhammad. These Hadiths are for Muslims to follow
because Muhammad is a model in Islam.
These Hadiths include how to make yourself a
better person. One example is,
The Blessed Prophet said: ‘A good companion is
like a perfume seller.’ Spending your day in good
company is like spending your day in a perfume
shop: you will at the end of the day, perhaps
faintly, perhaps strongly, of perfume.
On the other hand, the Blessed Prophet said:
‘Don’t go near a place that has doubtful
reputation and so risk yourself being accused’
What is the Importance of a
Hadith?
Hadiths are important because they are the key
to making a better Muslim, and the best way to
learn is by learning from the best Muslim who
ever lived, Muhammad. If there were no Hadiths,
how would Muslims become better? Muslims
would be really lost in this world.
