CONTROVERSY!?!

Ritalin works in a similar manner as cocaine by being a CNS
stimulant! They both block a dopamine transporter protein,
increasing dopamine levels!

30-50% of adolescents in drug treatment centers report abusing
Ritalin.

Because it is taken as a pill, it takes longer to reach the brain,
however, if abused, it can still be addictive.
