Design a model of a plant or animal cell (your choice)
The materials you use are up to you!
Creativity gets extra points
You must have a key that explains what represents each organelle and the definition of the organelle.
You will present this cell in front of class
This is worth 100 points so take your time!!!
This is due on Tuesday February 21st
**** Check off list to ensure a good grade***
 Use the pictures & the information on pages 228-233 in your book
 Make sure that you have ALL parts of the cell on your model (9 parts for animal & 11 parts for plants)
 Make sure that your key lists the organelles, what represents them on your physical model, and defines the function
of the cell organelle.
*** Example: Nucleus: the control center for the cell = cupcake in the middle of the cookie
 BE CREATIVE!!!! You may use a wide variety of materials. See me ahead of time to okay the materials if you are
unsure. You DO NOT have to spend $$$$$ on this! Look around the house!
 REMEMBER that we are a NUT FREE school
