Map Skills
* Know the difference between political maps and physical maps.
* Know the features that help you read and understand maps. (Title, Compass, Key, Scale)
* Know the difference between latitude and longitude and be able to use them to find a
particular location.
* Know the difference between relative location and absolute location.
Five Themes of Geography
* Know the five themes of geography that geographers use to describe Earth and helps us
understand our world and how we fit into it. (Location, Place, Region, Movement, and Human‐
Environment Interaction)

* Know the difference between the Paleolithic and Neolithic time period.
