2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Taught by Julie Reiss, Registered Dietician. Come learn about steps you can take to promote
your health and minimize side effects while receiving cancer treatment. This class is open to
anyone who is receiving cancer treatment or post treatment & their supporters.

Support Group for Prostate Cancer Patients
Tuesday, August 14th
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
This is a safe place for patients to share and learn from each other. The presence of healthy
men at support groups provides “proof” and “hope” that survival is possible. Come and join

Come and join Rebecca, licensed instructor that is full of energy and fun! This class can be
adapted to any fitness level. You may begin at anytime and bring a friend!

come and join Rebecca as she brings fun into healthy cooking. The class will include cooking
demonstrations, new themes & recipes each month and tasting!!!
Look Good Feel Better
Monday, August 27
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This class teaches women beauty tips to look better and feel good about how they look during
chemotherapy and radiation treatments. You will learn about makeup, skin care, nail care,
and the use of wigs turbans and scarves. Sponsored by the American Cancer Society
Meditation Mondays
Every Monday evening
5:30 pm - 6:45 pm
Each week this introductory meditation class guides you through reflections and guided
imagery. Meditation can help decrease stress and assist in improving concentration. In a nonreligious based class the Wet Mountain Sangha, welcomes you as they host each week.

Classes located in the Healing Arts Room: Located on the corner of Lake Avenue and Lakeview
(look for the traffic light) at St. Mary-Corwin. Enter the parking lot from Lakeview. Enter the
building thru the Dorcy Cancer Center that faces Lake Avenue. Take the elevator on your left up to
the 1st floor. We are down the hall, last door on the left.
