Stricter CO₂ legislation is fueling the continual market
growth of start-stop technology. One in two cars
produced in Europe today is fitted with a start-stop
system. Designed to offer enhanced start dynamics
while still being lightweight, the SC70 has been out in
front of this market development from the very beginning.
Thanks to its compact size, the SC70 can be integrated
into a vehicle’s manual or automatic transmission just
as a conventional starter motor would be. Yet another
advantage is the starter motor’s mechanically and
thermally robust construction, which is designed to
perform equally well when used with gasoline or diesel
engines.
