Design
Instruction
Designers design for movie, television, and theater productions.
Designers study scripts, confer with directors and conduct
research to determine the appropriate historical period, fashion,
and architectural styles. They then produce sketches, scale
models, or light plots to guide in the final execution of their
design.
Some actors, designers and technicians also teach in high school
or university drama departments, acting conservatories, or
public programs.
