Geometric Detective
Student Instructions: After reviewing the theorems about triangles, analyze
characteristics and properties of various types of triangles through inductive and
deductive reason. Use inductive reasoning to formulate reasonable conjectures and use
deductive reasoning for justification, either formally or informally. What patterns do you
see throughout triangles? Present your results visually through PowerPoint, Prezi, or
Infographic. How does this information pertain to jobs in the real-world? Choose one
profession that must know this information and explain how critical it is to their career.
If you prefer a different method to present your results, obtain your teacher’s permission

your graphic calculator. Download all files from the TI Web site. Then use the
application to construct parallel lines and transversals. Make conjectures about the
