The National Center of Excellence for Clinical Trial and Research
The National Center of Excellence for Clinical Trial and Research Center
was established In the National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) by the
Taiwan government in recognition of the NTUH as the center of excellence in
clinical research in Taiwan and also a center of excellence in clinical research
in Asia Pacific.
The National Center of Excellence for Clinical Trial and Research
consists of the Clinical Trial Center, Phase I Center, Translational Research
Center, Cardiovascular Center, Helicobacter Pylori Research Center,
Infectious Disease Center, and Comparative Cost Effectiveness Center.
We assist NTUH in about 500 clinical trials and over a thousand other
clinical research projects per year. We take leadership in a number of
international clinical trials, as study chairman or steering committee members.
Major international pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, Novartis,
GSK, Boehringer-Ingleheim have set up their Clinical R&D Center and MSD
has set up their Onconet Phase 1 Center with the National Center of
Excellence for Clinical Trial and Research Center in NTUH.
