Write your own opinion: will biotechnology be the same accessible in future as computers have become now?
When asked whether biotechnology is applied in the future, as well as computers, I answer yes. Year
after year, science and technology is developing, what we thought impossible just a few decades ago,
now seems so elementary. Just a couple of days ago I came across an article which said that in 2006,
while four patients died of cancer in the clinic. In fact it would not cause any problems, hundreds of
people die each year from cancer, but it was interesting that all four patients received interferon
intravenously simultaneously in one and the same place. Further investigation revealed that interferon
was not sufficiently cleaned, and it was not known what effect of interferon together with other
medicines. The death of four patients due to a lack of pure interferon caused a wave of discontent on
the part of other patients.
The next five years, all the scientists in Europe have tried to get more pure interferon. It managed three
Cuban geneticists, who with the help of genetic engineering methods have received interferon-gamma,
which was much cleaner than the alpha-interferon. Also, its effect on the body did not cause rejection
by the immune system.
Such examples are many. With the help of molecular biology, genetic engineering, scientists annually

the power of biotechnology only in good order and comply with all ethics.
