We must understand that our personality is governed by a ray completely
different from that which is our individuality. This is because we need
rounding. We need wholeness. We need greater knowledge and development, so we have a secondary ray, which largely governs our temperaments,
desires, and pleasures. In addition to that, on the physical plane we are
governed by the zodiac and its signs. Our sun sign is often different from
that of our brother, or our child, or our husband, or sister, and this is good,
too. But the sun signs of the zodiac also have their own rays.
