In the circuit in Fig. 1, using modified nodal analysis (MNA) as seen in class, find the power
that the 7A current source exchanging with the rest of the circuit? Is it delivering or
absorbing that power? This is an exercise on MNA, not on any other technique of circuit
solution. All resistor values are given in ohms.

3) (Very important exercise) If you replace the 9 ohm resistor at the bottom of the circuit in
Fig.1 by a wire (that is, by a resistor with zero ohms), what would be the current in that
wire? Solve it analytically using modified nodal analysis.
