Job Title: Department: Reports To: FLSA Status: Sales Representative Business Development and Marketing Vice President, Business Development and Marketing Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Representative will develop and close new business accounts to meet or exceed the goals of the organization’s strategic plan. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES (include the following; other duties may be assigned): Implements sales process and builds relationships consistent with Castle’s values and strategy Demonstrates and familiarizes new and established accounts with new products/services and developments Works with proposal and contracts administrators to create proposals, pricing, project plans to present to prospects Works with proposal and contracts administrators to create and negotiate contracts Works with marketing to create creative lead generating campaigns to augment target prospect lists Coordinates assistance from technical services and marketing Provides management reports on sales activities and sales pipelines Utilizes MS CRM and other approved methodologies to track progress of marketing and sales opportunities, makes creative recommendations for change, and implements agreed upon changes Researches and updates contacts and organizations on business development target lists Provides feedback on potential leads and implements follow through on sales and marketing strategies Prepares expense reports REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Excellent communication, organization and planning skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate professionalism under pressure Travel required (up to 50%). EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field 2 years minimum experience in outside sales MS CRM experience preferred Interested candidates should submit a letter of application, resume, salary history, and the names of three professional references.
