Topics may include:
Parameters, including environmental, nutritional and genetic factors, impacting on animal health
Development of knowledge of common diseases in veterinary animals
Understanding diagnostic methods and treatment options in disease or immunocompromised
veterinary animals

Students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to
engage with the field of animal health, disease identification
and treatment. Students will reflect on current literature and
critically review and analyse this knowledge. Student`s ability
to apply and consolidate this knowledge will be assessed
using a variety of assessment tasks throughout the semester.

and in teams to solve complex problems, and develop strong
communication and analytical skills through analysis of case
studies, research, preparation of reports and oral
