BRCA1 and BRCA2 Breast Cancer
Research Study for
Advanced Hereditary
Breast Cancer
Do you or someone you know have metastatic or locally
advanced breast cancer that is BRCA-associated?
The Brocade3 study is a research study evaluating the safety and effectiveness
of an investigational, oral medication in addition to treatment with chemotherapy
for patients with metastatic or locally advanced BRCA-associated breast cancer.
Study volunteers must meet the following criteria:
• Be ages 18 or older
• Have metastatic breast cancer or locally advanced breast cancer for which local
therapy (surgery or radiation) is not appropriate
• Have a BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation
• Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
• Must be HER2-negative
• Other criteria apply
