Media Contact Noam Szoke [email protected] FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE What do you get when you combine Gilbert & Sullivan with the Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco? Autumnal OUTing--- a unique double-bill showcasing LGCSF’s crowd-pleasing cabaret-style song selections with the Gilbert & Sullivan classical operetta, “Trial By Jury”. Shows run two weekends only: Friday-Saturday, October 26-27 and Friday-Saturday, November 2-3 on the Main Stage at Theatre Rhinoceros, 2926 16th Street at South Van Ness in San Francisco. All shows at 8 pm. Tickets are $15 to $25 general admission, sliding scale, and may be purchased directly from the Theatre Rhino box office, 415-861-5079 or online at www.therhino.org. Gilbert & Sullivan’s classic 1875 one-act comic opera, “Trial By Jury”, is the story of a judge, jury, and the public, hearing a breach of promise case. Under Artistic Director Stephanie Lynne Smith with stage direction by Michael Mohammed, LGCSF has adapted “TBJ” to a modern-day Castro Street bar scene. Along with “Trial By Jury”, the show features a delightful mix of the small ensemble cabaret performances that have made LGCSF famous. With over-thetop costumes and queer themes, this edgy but entirely family-friendly show provides a glorious night of entertainment. Don’t miss Autumnal OUTing, the opening show of what promises to be an adventurous 27th season for the Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco! Theatre Rhino (2926 16th Street at South Van Ness) is reachable by BART (16th and Mission station), and Muni lines above and underground. Street parking is available on South Van Ness between 14th and 16th Streets, and there is a parking garage on 16th Street between Mission and Valencia. For more information, please visit www.lgcsf.org. The Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco is supported by the San Francisco Grants for the Arts/SF Hotel Tax Fund and is a member of LA Choruses (Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses, Inc.), the world's only association committed to serving the LGBT choral movement. LGCSF is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All donations are fully tax-deductible. # # #
