TRH: Thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH)
TSH: Thyroid stimulating hormone
The pictures above show the negative feedback between thyroid stimulating hormone and thyroid hormones T3
and T4 (thyroxine). The negative sign means that it inhibits secretion and the positive sign means it stimulates
secretion.
