JOB PURPOSE
The Communications Planning Coordinator is responsible for marketing communications planning
and delivery. The purpose of the post is about the management of workflow management,
logistics, stock management, budget planning and communicating these areas to internal staff.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage logistics functions via DC10– including stock management, logistics of the
Welcome Packs, corporate gifts, and despatch for generic and bespoke direct mail.

Coordinate budget reporting and monitoring across the department, in agreement with
Head of Marketing Communications. Develop and maintain systems and processes that
enable the department to report, profile and forecast budgets regularly and accurately. As
well as identifying procedures relating to finance which need clarifying and training the
team.

Establish, maintain and manage projects from agreed strategy to completion.

Develop and manage workflow and tracking systems for the whole department. Monitor,
report on and co-ordinate progress against communications schedule using an appropriate
electronic system. Make sure deadlines are communicated and met.

Manage the internal communications to keep staff informed of the latest materials

Manage the logistics functions of Marketing Resources

Manage publisher inserts in our publications and invoicing

Support the Marketing Communications team as required such as annually reviewing and
updating our ISO documents

Knowledge
 Degree-level education (or equivalent)

High IT literacy
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs, particularly Excel.
High standard of communication skills at all levels of the organisation
