What will I Study The Bachelor of Technology ﴾Forensic and Analytical Chemistry﴿ combines studies in all aspects of chemistry with related sciences such as biology and
earth sciences, mathematical and computer skills and areas of Australia's legal system. You will be introduced to the legislative and professional background of forensic and analytical chemistry and study topics including Forensic Methods, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Synthetic Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Professional Skills for Forensic Chemists and Drug Discovery and Natural Products.
Career Opportunities Graduates have taken up positions in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and forensic industries as well as government agencies such as the Australian Federal Police.
Potential employers include but are not limited to: Forensic Science South Australia; Lion Nathan; Bridgestone; BHP Billiton; SA Water; and Australian Government Analytical Laboratories; British Petroleum; Coca Cola; and Cadbury.
