Marketing Manager Working with a team of Marketing Specialists, the Marketing Manager leads and implements marketing initiatives that achieve CSI’s financial goals and builds brand equity, and is directly accountable for high impact strategies that grow customer acquisition, retention, revenue and ROI. What you will achieve in this role: Getting Results Manage the development and implementation of annual marketing and communications plans, ensuring clear articulation to internal and external stakeholders/agencies Lead and implement high impact, integrated marketing campaigns to drive increased customer acquisition, retention, revenue and ROI, including: Developing campaign strategy, ensuring faithfulness to CSI brand and voice Applying best practices, insights, and continuous testing Assessing results to identify opportunities to: 1) improve lead generation and conversion and, 2) optimize impact and synergy across channels and audiences Manage CSI’s website, social media, and SEO/SEM strategies and implementation, ensuring brand consistency across channels, and maximizing customer engagement Lead and/or manage projects to support and deliver CSI’s strategic initiatives and innovation pipeline, as required Leverage customer insights, industry trends, and best practices to optimize marketing initiatives, drive innovation, and reduce competitive threats Building and Managing Relationships Manage and coach a team of four Marketing Specialists towards high performance Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders in planning and implementing the successful commercialization of CSI products Partner with cross-functional team members to support business priorities and objectives Manage multiple agency relationships on a daily basis to deliver marketing objectives, drive innovation, and ensure excellence in execution. Ensure strong coordination and synergies between agencies and teams Marketing Operations Oversight Continually assess and improve marketing operations and processes to increase speed-to-market and maximize productivity and results Establish and monitor key performance indicators, using the most effective tools to assess results and drive growth and improvements Manage and optimize the Marketing and Communications budget, ensuring coordination with key partner budgets, and completing monthly reporting Ensure accuracy and effectiveness of all marketing process documents (briefs, brand guidelines, etc.) and maintain an extensive rolling campaign calendar Support internal stakeholders and senior management in the development and communication of regular reports and presentations What you will bring to this role: Highly adept relationship-builder, collaborator, and influencer Strong people-manager with proven experience managing marketing professionals/teams Exceptional project management and campaign implementation skills: a proven track record of successfully managing projects that deliver results, on time and on budget Strong strategic planning skills with command of branding fundamentals Highly creative, out-of-the-box thinker with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement Strong analytical skills. Able to translate qualitative and quantitative research/data into insights that drive strategy and results Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to understand and leverage the financial services advisor environment and translate into highimpact marketing activity Qualifications: University degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications Classically trained agency or client-side marketer with 7+ years' business experience, ideally within financial services, combined with a solid understanding of online and direct marketing, social media, and creative and production processes Experience in the financial services industry is preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required Knowledge of Google Analytics, Adwords, Omniture and Exact Target is an asset If this sounds like you or someone you know, contact us.
