PPMA is an IT Based Organizational Application used by various departments
such as ITSUPPORT, Payroll, Finance, Admin, Quality, Information Security ,
Marketing and Project Management.The application is being used by more than four
thousand employees. The Application is used for ticketing, generating reports, creating
meetings and used as a datawarehousing application to store and analyze the projects
handled and delivered by the organization.
Responsibilities:
 Providing 24/7 support for both the application and database.
 Ensuring the databases and applications are available for the production,
development and testing teams.
 Creation of database schemas, tablespaces and granting privileges to the
schemas as per the requirement.
 Daily Health Check.
 Analyzing the database using statspack, TKPROF, SQL tuning and
implementing some changes to improve the performance.
 Resolving the tickets raised within the SLA.
 Installation and configuration of Oracle database and application servers based
on the requirement.
 Deploying the new or updated oracle forms and reports in the production
environment once it has been received from the development team.
