The aims and objectives of the course are to
develop specialized manpower in the field of
Multimedia and Web Design Technology and
enabling the participants to:
(a) Edit and incorporate Multimedia components to
prepare Multimedia DVD/CD titles.
(b) Use different authoring software along with
supporting software to generate Multimedia and
Web based applications including 2D and 3D digital
content.

COURSE CONTENTS
The course will be conducted in modular form. The seven modules along with a
minor and a major project will cover the Multimedia and Web Design Technology. In
addition, visits will be arranged to industries in and around Chandigarh.
INTRODUCTION TO MULTIMEDIA
This module shall introduce multimedia technologies as per following topics:
