video, the article and the passage to support your answer.
Judgment Halls of the Dead, a mythical site located in the Tuat. Osiris, as the Lord of the Underworld, sat
in judgment of all souls Osiris, accompanied by the Forty-two Judges, demon-like creatures. The dead
whose good deeds outweighed evil were deemed pure and eligible to enter Amenti, the western paradise.
priests provided the deceased with the Declarations of Innocence, also known as the Negative
Confessions. Additional aspects of the ritual in the Judgment Halls of Osiris included naming of the stones
and bolts. Gigantic scales were present in the hall, and their divine beings helped Thoth in keeping an
account of the deceased's heart. This ritual of death and judgment remained firm in Egyptian religious
beliefs. The dead whose good deeds outweighed evil were deemed pure and eligible to enter Amenti.
Mortuary texts and the priests provided the deceased with the Declarations of Innocence, also known as
the Negative Confessions.
