Course Title: Introduction to Emergency Management Date: January 9, 2017 Cost: $99 About: This course provides candidates with an understanding of the basics in emergency management. The candidates will discuss the historical context of emergency management, the cycles of emergency management, and learn the functions of an emergency management program. Additionally, the candidates will analyze natural and technological hazards and assessment. This course is part one of a 5-course program designed for individuals in emergency management fields to earn additional training in many aspects of emergency management. Audience: This course is appropriate for business and industry, firefighters, Emergency Managers, Emergency Medical Services, law enforcement officers, and other interested parties. Prerequisites: None Schedule: This is a one-day course offered through FSU CDHS. Additional scheduling can be made for off-hours cohort programs for corporations or government agencies, either at FSU or on customer properties.
