BMI The Alexandra Hospital’s overview of plastic surgery available after weight loss.
Join us for an informative overview of surgical procedures, band-filling, weight
management programmes, exercise, diet and the psycho-social aspects of obesity.
Bariatric Consultant Surgeon, Mr Anselm Agwunobi will be here to provide up-to-date
information on the surgical procedures we offer which provide long-term weight
management solutions. In addition, Mr Gary Ross, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, will
give an overview of plastic surgery available after weight loss surgery.
Lynn Walton, Lead Bariatric Nurse BMI Sefton will give a talk on Gastric Band
Management. Helen Aizlewood will speak about the role of the Bariatric Nurse and
Sara Hawkins, Senior Bariatric Physiotherapist will provide an overview of the role of
the Physiotherapist.
During the course of the day you will be taken through the patient journey and
following case studies. There will also be the opportunity to discuss current best
practice in a forum.
