TENDER NOTICE
The Executive Engineer – I (Civil), Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Medical College Society
on behalf of the Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Medical College Society invites sealed item rate
tenders from approved and eligible contractors of PWD, Puducherry and those of
approved list of CPWD, Department of Telecommunication, MES, Railway and other state
PWD for the following works.

Desires contractors / firms may obtain the Tender Documents on request in writing
from the Executive Engineer – I (Civil), Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Medical College Society,
Puducherry on payment of ` 1,500/- (Rupees One thousand and five hundred only)
plus VAT @ 4% in cash or DD (Non-Refundable) drawn in favour of Project
Manager, Puducherry Medical College Society, Puducherry and on depositing of
EMD as noted in column 4 above upto 4.00 P.M. on 20.12.2011. In case of tender
documents being downloaded, the cost of tender documents are payable in the form of
Demand draft (Non-Refundable) in favour of the Project Manager, Puducherry Medical
College Society, Puducherry and shall be enclosed in the envelope superscibing as
“EMD/Cost of Tender Schedule” and on depositing EMD as noted below. The envelope
superscribing “EMD/Cost of Tender Schedule” shall be placed in the cover containing the
tender document. The cost of Tender Schedule and EMD shall be obtained on or before
the last date of issue of Tender Schedule / downloading the schedules from website (i.e.,)
on or before 20.12.2011.

The Earnest Money Deposit of ` 2,30,780/- should be deposited by receipt of
Treasury Challan / Deposit at call receipt of a Scheduled Bank / Fixed Deposits receipts of
Scheduled Bank / Demand Draft of a Scheduled Bank. The Earnest Money should be
drawn in favour of Project Manager, Puducherry Medical College Society,
Puducherry.

Tender schedule can be downloaded by the contractors / firms from the website
www.pkmc.edu.in But the contractors who had downloaded the tender documents from
the website shall follow the procedures prescribed below:

The contractors who had downloaded the tender documents (NIT) from the website
shall submit the tender schedule in two envelops sealed in a single cover. The first
envelope shall be placed with the required amount of cost of tender schedule and EMD in
the prescribed format as described in Para 3 in a sealed separate cover and the other
envelope superscribed as “Bid Documents” wherein duly filled tender document as per
the NIT downloaded shall be placed and sealed in an over all single cover superscibing the
tender for the work called for.

The Tender documents will be received up to 3.30 P.M on 22.12.2011 and will
be opened by the Executive Engineer – I (Civil), Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Medical College
Society, Puducherry or his authorized representative in his office on the same day at
4.00 P.M. The Tender Documents received without valid Earnest Money Deposits, cost of
tender schedule and proof for eligibility criteria as mentioned in column 6 will be
summarily rejected.
7.
If the opening day of tender happens to be a public holiday the same will be
opened on next working day.
