Details
The AIG netAdvantage Suite provides comprehensive coverages to protect your
client’s digital assets. These are coverages generally not provided under most standard policies. The absence of these specific coverages could expose your clients to
significant financial loss.
Network Security Liability: Coverage for damages and defense costs suffered
from a suit resulting from a computer attack upon the insured’s network, including liability caused by transmission of a computer virus, unauthorized access,
denial-of-service, disclosure of confidential information and identity theft.
Web Content Liability: Coverage for content-based injuries such as libel,
slander, defamation, copyright, title, trademark infringement or invasion of
privacy arising from the display of material on the insured’s web site.
Internet Professional Liability: Broad-based coverage for errors and
omissions liability arising out of a comprehensive list of Internet professional
services including application service providers (ASPs), Internet service
providers (ISPs), managed and network security services, hosting, media
services, electronic exchange and Internet auctions, public key infrastructure
services, domain name registration, e-commerce transaction services, search
engines and web portals.
Network Business Interruption: Coverage that protects the insured’s
income, BOTH online and offline resulting from a computer attack. Coverage
also includes loss for extended business interruption and dependent business
interruption.

Identity Theft: Coverage for liability arising from the theft of personal information of the insured’s customers or clients arising from a breach of network
security. PLUS, optional coverage for a 24/7 AIG Identity Theft Call Center

Extra Expense: Coverage for additional expenses incurred to restore the
business as quickly as possible after an interruption caused by a failure of
security. PLUS up to U.S. $100,000 in computer attack forensic costs reimbursement.
Cyber Extortion: Coverage for the investigation and settlement of a cyberextortion threat against the insured.
Cyber Terrorism*: Broad-form coverage in response to “acts of terrorism.”
Acts of terrorism is broadly defined in the policy to include terrorist computer
attacks. The term goes beyond “certified” acts mandated under the Terrorism
Risk Insurance Act of 2002. Coverage provides for both first- and third-party
loss, damage to data, business interruption and third-party liability resulting
from acts of cyber terrorism.
Criminal Rewards: Coverage up to $50,000 (reward fund) available for
information that leads to the arrest and conviction of individual(s) committing
or attempting to commit a computer attack or other qualifying criminal acts.
This coverage is provided with no applicable retention.

Crisis Communication Fund: Coverage provided up to $50,000 toward
the fees and expenses for the insured's public relations crisis arising out of a
computer attack. This coverage is provided with no applicable retention.
Punitive, Exemplary and Multiple Damages: Coverage provided where
permissible by law.
Punitive Damages Coverage: Coverage includes demands for money, services, non-monetary or injunctive relief, as well as civil proceedings.
Comprehensive Computer Attack: Coverage for any unauthorized access
or use of the insured’s computer system resulting from a breach of security,
such as denial-of-service attacks, computer viruses or other malicious code.
Coverage for both internal (employee) attacks and external attacks that breach
your client’s security. Coverage applies regardless of whether attack is specifically targeted or widespread, fraudulent or accidental, malicious or innocent.
Physical Theft of Data: Coverage for the liability associated with physical
theft of computer hardware or firmware containing information assets.
Additional Benefits
FREE online security assessment or on-site ISO 17799 security audit for
qualifying applicants provided as an additional risk management tool,
regardless of whether insurance is purchased.
Coverage from the world’s leading international insurance and financial
services organization.
Limits up to $25 million, retentions as low as $2,500. Premiums starting at $5,000.
Coverages can be specifically tailored to address unique customer risks.
Coverage is generally provided on a worldwide and system-wide basis.
