MBA for Non-governmental
organizations (NGOs)
The program "Master of Business Administration for NGOs" includes main basic technologies for the efficient
development and functioning of non-governmental sector: legal support for NGO activities, strategic
development and finance, fundraising, PR and marketing, human resource management.
The aim – Preparation of professionals for non-governmental organizations, who possess effective methods of
operational and strategic management of NGOs.Preparation of highly qualified managers capable to
manage effectively and solve the challenges facing NGOs, to organize interaction of NGOs with the
state and commercial sectors.
Target Audience: Leaders of the non-governmental organizations, coordinators and project assistants, managers,
specialists in the development of programs, and all who wants to improve their skills in the field of NGO
activities.
Students of the program "Master of Business Administration for NGO" will know and be able to:
perform at a high level control functions and solve professional problems;
realize current problems and prospects of socio-economic development of NGOs;
possess modern analytical tools of management, methodology of systematic approach to NGOs, effective methods
in management, diagnostic methods and analysis, as well as methods of decision-making;
be able to develop the organizational structure, adequate strategies, goals and objectives, the internal and external
conditions of activity of NGOs; to carry out the distribution of powers and responsibilities based on their delegation,
analyze and design;
plan marketing events, organize marketing activities, to carry out its effective control and to ensure rational use of
resources and marketing tools,
successfully organize PR-company, improve skills of PR-strategy development and PR-choice tactics;
be able to use effectively the tools of attract resources in NGO;
have a clear view of the financial mechanism of the NGO;
manage effectively human resources to carry out the planning and organization of personnel work, possess
principles and methods of conflict management, organizational culture and implement organizational changes.
