Everybody has the potential to communicate.
ICP 2014 aims to highlight the importance of human communication – and how
communication disabilities severely impact every aspect of life. The ICP 2014 is built
on the premise that:
 Roughly one billion people around the world are living with some form of
disability; but people with communication disabilities may not be included in this
estimate,
 Communication is vital to participation in life; but is largely ignored as a disability.
 People with communication difficulties can encounter significant difficulties in
their daily lives.
