NEW CANON LV-S3 PROJECTOR
PROJECTING A QUALITY IMAGE IN AN ULTRA LIGHT WEIGHT
APPEARANCE AT HOME
Canon Hongkong Co. Ltd today introduces a new projector – LV-S3 which is affordable,
ultra-light (weight only 2.2 kg) and compact. It performs to project high quality image, quiet
operation and portability at home.
HIGH QUALITY IMAGE
The LV-S3 projector has the “Genuine Canon Optics” delivers quality image. In addition,
LV-S3 can replicate progressive scan quality with interlaced video signals (480i, 480p, 575i,
575p, 720p, 1035i and 1080i) “Progressive scanning” draws the entire frame continuously from
top to the bottom that greatly reduces flickering in the image. As a result, the projected image
shows smoother movement, clearer diagonal lines, and super-sharp titles and subtitles.
The LV-S3 also has the “Auto Grayscale” function that brings greater clarity to black and white
projection by increasing contrast in the entire picture. When turned on, the resulting image is
visible crisper, make this a handy tool for images that originally look either washed out or
overly dark.
SHORT PROJECTION DISTANCE
It benefits from Canon’s wide-angle zoom lens, enabling to project bigger image from shorter
distance. LV-S3 projector enables to project a large 70-inch image from as little as 2.3 meters
(7.6 feet) away in order to bring flexibility at home.
EASY TO USE AND QUITE OPERATION
The LV-S3 can reduce the distracting noise from 37 decibels to 32 decibels by simply switching
on the silent mode and operation is whisper quiet. The LV-S3 is easy to operate with a mini
remote control ensuring push button simplicity.

PRECISE PICTURE ADJUSTMENT
A choice of six image settings provides perfect viewing in all situations. Hi-Contrast mode
makes graphs and photographs look sharper. Cinema mode is designed for watching films in a
darkened room. Custom mode gives you freedom to adjust several factors with ease.
ULTRA BRIGHT AND COMPACT
The LV-S3 projector demonstrates its quality with high brightness (1,250 ANSI lumens) and
true SVGA resolution. It is in compact size that weighing only 2.2kg and with a mini A5+
footprint. It benefits from bright and bold colour, enabling to project bright and clear images.
SOPHISTICATED SECURITY SYSTEM
The LV-S3 has the “Key Lock” system that is used to disable the keys on either the projector’s
control panel or the remote control. During presentations, interruptions are avoided if children
or adult touches the control panel accidentally.
The LV-S3 projector has a sophisticated technology of projection and functions to provide a
quality image. It is available now and the suggested retail price is HK$8,980 with 2-year
carry-in warranty.
