The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for building, maintaining, updating, and modifying
financial models. These models serve as the tool for management to make strategic business
decisions, support financing and capital transactions, provide stock and enterprise valuations,
external guidance metrics and ranges, and support YE audit valuations.
The analyst will work closely with key stakeholders to model cost, revenue, and cashflow drivers
and ensure calculations and outputs are accurate, using a complex excel model with advanced
formulas and concepts. The position will work closely with both staff and senior management in
all pyramids of the organization.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Build, modify, maintain, and update the excel projection models. Provide projections based on
assumptions provided to support strategic and financial initiatives. Meet with key stakeholders to
review business changes and incorporate revisions into the model
2. Modify and maintain new business case excel model. Ensure model includes all P&L
requirements. Review all business case financials to ensure accuracy and reasonableness and
challenge assumptions as needed.
3. Prepare various ad hoc analyses for management.
The analyst will also be the primary department contact for business case analysis/validation and
additional ad-hoc analysis/projects to support strategic decisions. This position is critical to the
successful growth of the organization.
Scope and Impact:
Position will report to the Senior Manager of FP&A. This position is critical to providing multiyear detailed projections used for strategic decision making. This position requires direct
interaction with senior business leaders in all pyramids of the organization. Critical position that
provides meaningful contribution to the profitable growth of the company.
Education: Four year accounting/finance degree required, MBA required. (We will consider
candidates currently pursuing their MBA)
Licenses/Certification/Registration: CPA a plus
Experience: At least 5years of experience working in a fast paced environment and
demonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysis. Retail experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical skills. Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of
financial statements is critical.
