Ryan Ross, PhD - Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology
Ryan is a postdoctoral fellow and instructor in the Department of
Anatomy and Cell Biology. Ryan obtained his B.S. in Chemical
Engineering from the University of California at Riverside and his
Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame. Ryan's research is
focused on the matrix-level factors that contribute to bone strength
and on the use of circulating biomarkers to monitor and diagnose
peri-implant osteolysis.
Ryan's experience as a Postdoc at Rush and how the Rush Postdoc Society has made an impact:
"My experience at Rush has allowed me to grow as a scientist by providing me with additional
biological training and the opportunity to pursue my own research interests. The RPS has provided
me with the opportunity to broaden my training outside of the lab and has helped me to prepare for
my next position by hosting seminars related to both the traditional academic path as well as other
opportunities for scientists."
