Role Overview
In May, iD was appointed by The Co-operative Group to deliver a series of experiential campaigns on
behalf of Co-op Food. We are currently looking for a strategic and creative Account Director to head
up the account and take overall responsibility for the successful development and management of the
client relationship.

We are an independent team of 50 experiential specialists based in North London with over two
decades experience working alongside some of Britain’s best-loved brands. We deliver large scale
sampling campaigns, road shows, and immersive brand experience campaigns for clients including
Britvic, Pepsico, Mars, Co-op and Unilever. Additionally iD provides teams of highly trained expert
demonstrators in retailers throughout the UK for clients including; Nespresso, Microsoft, Revlon,
COTY, Elizabeth Arden and Sage Appliances.
Today, our army of over 5000 brand ambassadors continue to provide unique, effective and
unrivalled brand experiences. We have won a number of awards for both creativity and

Account Director Role
Candidate personal requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience working across a number of multi-brand clients and a
proven experience building and developing strong client relationships.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with experience and knowledge of integrated
marketing. They will have the ability to offer strategic advice to our clients and offer solutions to
business challenges.

Key responsibilities




Design and oversee the implementation and delivery of client activity, ensuring that client
satisfaction, revenue and profitability targets can be met.
Management & motivation of direct Line reports and to oversee the Field Team relationships
Overall responsibility for campaign budgets and forecasting your client spend for year ahead
Creative idea generation and management of creative processes
Competencies
Commercial awareness
 Forecast & review clients spend against Business Plan target
 Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for client, oversee quotes prepared by your
team
 Negotiation with key suppliers to maximise value
Client Care & Customer service




Establish a business and personal relationship with all clients to ensure business
development & retention
Oversee the implementation of your clients’ campaigns, ensuring the team are working to
the highest possible standards
Ensure that a robust analysis of all results takes place with recommendations
Take all necessary measures to gain a full understanding of the client’s business, their issues,
opportunities and objectives

Leadership & people management
 Oversee performance management of field staff & act on / feedback to clients where
necessary
 Carry out regular site visits on all campaigns on the first live day of activity
 Motivate your team ensuring that they have the opportunity to learn & develop account
handling skills
 Hold regular campaign assessments with team including annual reviews where necessary
 Hold regular status meetings with your team to ensure margins are being met across all
campaigns.
Team work
 Collect all briefs with relevant iD personnel
 Assist GAD with plans to achieve targets across the account
 Liaise with all internal departments, (Creative, Operations) to ensure deadlines and brief are
met
 Positively impact the iD culture.
