The main properties of cancer cell
Summery
This study was designed to view the definition of tumor cell or neoplasia as a
uncontrolled cell division lead to an abnormal mass. The cause of neoplasia physical,
chemical, biological and hormonal causes. Explain the important properties of cancer
cell then explain the carcinogenesis process by which normal cells are transformed
into cancer cells by mutations in DNA that lead to cancer this occur by three steps
initiation, promoter and progression . In molecular bases of cancer cell, Cancer is
linked to harmful genetic alteration of cells and many genes have been linked to
various forms of cancer, but the genetics of cancer is very complicated and less well
understood than classic genetics. An oncogene is a gene than, when mutated or
expressed at high levels, turn a normal cell into a tumor cell. Tumor suppressor genes
are "anti-oncogenes" inhibiting cellular proliferation; they are usually inactivated by
loss-of function mutation, in cancer development. The P 53 gene is known to be the
most important gene involved in all cancer. The final class of gene implicated in
carcinogenesis is involved in the various DNA repair mechanisms that allow accurate
DNA repair. One strategy tumors used to acquire apoptosis resistance is the over
expression of anti apoptotic molecules like the antiapoptotic proteins Fas Ligand
inhibitory protein.
Uncontrolled proliferation is a hallmark of cancer cells, molecular analysis of
human tumors and animals have provided a clear basis for the understanding of the
cellular process that govern cell cycle progression in normal and tumor cells. And
finally we explained cancer immunity is referred to interaction between the immune
system and cancer cells, it is also a growing field of researches that aims to discover
innovative cancer immunotherapies to treat and retard progression of this.
