Calibrate, tune and test a variety of LCMS (Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry)

Repair and troubleshoot complex instruments which operates at the borders of physics,
chemistry, precision mechanical engineering and ultra-sensitive electronics technology

Work closely with engineering to develop and improve test methodology to improve cycle
time and yield of instruments through value stream mapping.

Operate in FDA Class 1 QSR and ISO13485 environment

Support build and test activities new product introduction of next generation Mass
spectrometry devices

Occasionally may be identified to participate in customer/field installation program as part of
the Tender Loving care program
Essential qualifications:

Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Good command of English is a must
Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

Ideally, 3 years of working experience as technicians for complex instruments or integrated
systems with 5+ years working experience preferred.

Possess strong engineering and analytical skills and experience in FMEA and problem
solving is a must.

Strong team player. Hands on person.

Passionate about overcoming tough engineering challenges

Experience in LCMS/GCMS as a field repair technician will be added advantage.

electronic sub-assembly and final assemblies for production and support parts.

Build a variety of delicate and precision mechanical assemblies.

Manage non-conforming parts, repair and troubleshoot sub-assembly and electronic boards


Maintain laboratory equipment to ensure proper working order and troubleshoot malfunctions

when needed.

Using analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as high performance liquid

chromatography(HPLC) and Mass Spectrometer, for Chemical Validation.

Prepare test solutions, compounds, or reagents for Production usage.

Washes and sterilizes laboratory glassware.

Maintains and update material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products.

Recordkeeping procedures.

Proper and safe handling and disposal of harmful chemicals, substances, and hazardous
wastes.

Health and safety practices and precautions applicable to a chemistry laboratory.

liaising with staff and suppliers.

Chemical inventory, records, receiving and planning for chemical usage.

Diploma from an accredited higher learning institution in analytical chemistry or subjects
related

to LC and LC/MS research.

3-5 years of hands on laboratory experience with analytical instruments related to LC and
LC/MS

technologies including sample preparation and applications.

Possess knowledge of ISO13485, ISO 17025/GLP.

Strong team player, highly self-motivated, systematic problem solving abilities and result

orientated.

Ability to multitask, prioritize and respond to varied and changing demands focusing on

continuous improvement for customer needs.

Disciplined, self-accountable, initiative to start projects in line with team’s objectives and

demonstrated high proficiency in managing multiple projects to be completed on time.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills for working across

departments, especially with Manufacturing engineers, suppliers and quality in a fast-paced

environment.
