Dr. Carlos A. Ricotti is board certified in dermatology and
dermatopathology by the American Boards of Dermatology
and Pathology. After receiving his medical degree from the
Universidad del Salvador Medical School in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, Dr. Ricotti worked in the Department of Dermatology
at the University of Miami as a research fellow. He subsequently
completed his residency in dermatology at the University of
Miami and a fellowship in dermatopathology at The University
of Texas Southwestern, Medical Center at Dallas.

After completion of his fellowship Dr. Ricotti served as Clinical
Instructor in the Department of Dermatology at the University
of Texas Southwestern and as dermatopathologist at Cockerell
& Associates Dermatopathology Laboratory in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Ricotti has actively pursued his passion for education and
community service working with dermatology residents at the
University of Texas Southwestern and staffing resident clinics at the
Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas Texas. He will continue
this endeavor as voluntary faculty at the University of Miami,
Department of Dermatology. He will also head the development of
an educational dermatopathology program for Aurora Diagnostics,
DermDX division in Florida, geared towards students and residents.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ricotti has actively participated as a guest
lecturer at symposiums, workshops, universities, medical research
centers, and medical societies/associations. Dr. Ricotti has
authored/coauthored numerous skin disease-related articles that
were subsequently published in some of our more prestigious
scientific journals and textbooks. (See the reverse side of this CV
