TULIP
“Tulip’s factory system is arolink”
Henrik Weihrauch, Chief Financial Officer
Arotek has supplied the factory system
arolink to Tulip Food Company for more
than 14 years.
ment of manufacturing processes, to
ensure that our factories are and remain
competitive,” Henrik Weihrauch explains.
“Tulip is very happy with arolink and
arolink meets our high standards for
functionality and ease of use.”
The solutions, which Arotek delivers to
Tulip, include integration to the ERP sys
tem SAP, sequence planning, optimization,
receipt of goods, production and process
control, labelling and securing of trace
ability from raw material to finished pro
duct as well as paperless self-control.
“Arotek always delivers a solid piece of
project work with a secure management
from project initiation to delivery, and the
subsequent 24 x 7 service is impeccable.”
“With arolink we secure ourselves against
unexpected costs, save hours of work by
introducing paperless functions and at the
same time we have less waste and scrap
by being ahead of the game”, says Henrik
Weihrauch.
Henrik Weihrauch is Chief Financial Officer
with Tulip Food Company and is therefore
overall responsible that the company’s
IT systems deliver the data necessary to
run the company as efficiently as possible
and to constantly optimize all processes.
Henrik Weihrauch states that Tulip
uses a
rolink in their Danish and German
factories for the daily management and

monitoring of costs for the production of
finished p
 roducts.
“With arolink we ensure that factory
m anagement has data that provide

insight and perspective. arolink provides
management with solutions that ensure

rapid intervention with corrective actions
in case of deviations. The factory sys
tem arolink also provides a solid basis for
implementing our continuous improve

A project process normally starts when
Tulip together with Arotek establishes the
factory needs, which will translate into
a solution that is tested and approved
by the factory’s super-users before we
implement the solution. Many users do

not need training, but only thorough in
formation on how to use arolink as the
system is very intuitive to access for the
individual user.
The factory system arolink is standardized
to such an extent that Tulip’s own project
team can implement, operate and main
tain arolink along with the selected super-
users in the factories.
“Arotek’s performance and arolink ful
ly live up to the demands we place from
each plant, and we always have a return
of investment that is at the low end,” says
Henrik Weihrauch and continues:
