AGREEMENT between the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and the Austrian Federal Government regarding the access of officials of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries to the Commissary of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (hereinafter referred to as "the UNIDO"), the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (hereinafter referred to as "the OPEC") and the Austrian Federal Government (hereinafter referred to as "the Government"), . considering that the United Nations and the Republic of Austria in Section 27 (j)(iii) of their Agreement of 13 April 1967 regarding the Headquarters of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization have agreed to the establishment of a Commissary for the use of its officials and members of delegations and that a Supplemental Agreement for the exercise of these rights has been concluded on 1 March 1972 between the UNIDO and the Austrian Federal Government (hereinafter referred to as "UNIDO Commissary Agreement"); considering further that in Articles 22 (i)(iii) and 26 of the Agreement between the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and the Republic of Austria regarding the Headquarters of the OPEC access for officials of the OPEC to one of the existing Commissaries in Vienna is provided for and that the OPEC has chosen the Commissary of the UNIDO for that purpose, have agreed as follows: Article 1 Officials of the OPEC shall have access to the Commissary of the UNIDO. This access, unless otherwise provided for, is subject to the provisions of the UNIDO Commissary Agreement and to the regulations mentioned in its Article I. Article 2 Officials of the OPEC shall enjoy Commissary privileges in accordance with Article IV of the UNIDO Commissary Agreement, subject to the provisions of Article II (2) and (3) of that Agreement. Article 3 The terms of the administrative arrangements for facilitating the co-operation between the UNIDO and the OPEC for the use of the UNIDO Commissary will be agreed upon by both organizations. Article 4 Nothing in this Agreement shall derogate from the provisions of the Agreement between the United Nations and the Republic of Austria of 13 April 1967 regarding the Headquarters of the UNIDO and the Supplemental Agreements concluded between the UNIDO and the Government and/or the Agreement between the OPEC and the Republic of Austria regarding the Headquarters of the OPEC. Article 5 A request for the revision of this Agreement may be made at any time by any of the Parties by means of a notification in writing addressed to the other Parties. Due consideration shall be given to the motivation of such request which shall be the subject of a common examination by the Parties. Amendments to this Agreement, as agreed upon by the Parties, shall enter into force through an exchange of notes between the Executive Director of the UNIDO, the Secretary General of the OPEC and the duly authorized representative of the Government. Article 6 After consultations with all Parties, the Agreement may be terminated by the UNIDO or the OPEC. Such termination shall take effect three months after receipt of written notification of termination by the UNIDO or the OPEC. Article 7 This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of signature.
