Hosanna loud hosanna
The little children sang
Through pillared court and temple
The lovely anthem rang
To Jesus who had blessed them
Close folded to His breast
The children sang their praises
The simplest and the best
From Olivet they followed
Among the joyful crowd
The victory palm branch waving
With praises clear and loud
The Lord of earth and heaven
Rode on in lowly state
Nor scorned that little children
Should on His bidding wait
"Hosanna in the highest!"
That ancient song we sing
For Christ is our Redeemer
The Lord of heaven, our King
O may we ever praise Him
With heart and life and voice
And in His blissful presence
Eternally rejoice

All glory laud and honor
To Thee Redeemer King
To whom the lips of children
Made sweet hosannas ring
Thou art the King of Israel
Thou David's royal Son
Who in the Lord's name comest
The King and Blessed One
The company of angels
Are praising Thee on high
And mortal men and
All things created make reply
The people of the Hebrews
With palms before Thee went
Our praise and prayer and anthems
Before Thee we present
To Thee before Thy passion
They sang their hymns of praise
To Thee now high exalted
Our melody we raise
Thou didst accept their praises
Accept the praise we bring
Who in all good delightest
Thou good and gracious King

Sermon:
Jesus’ Death…My Death
Scripture:
Romans 6:1-7; Galatians 2:19-21
Romans 6:1-7 ( NASB )
1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue
in sin so that grace may increase?
2 May it never be! How shall we who died to
sin still live in it?
3 Or do you not know that all of us who have
been baptized into Christ Jesus have been
baptized into His death?
Romans 6:1-7 ( NASB )
4 Therefore we have been buried with Him
through baptism into death, so that as
Christ was raised from the dead through
the glory of the Father, so we too might
walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have become united with Him in
the likeness of His death, certainly we shall
also be in the likeness of His resurrection,
Romans 6:1-7 ( NASB )
6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified
with Him, in order that our body of sin
might be done away with, so that we would
no longer be slaves to sin;
7 for he who has died is freed from sin.
Galatians 2:19-21 ( NASB )
19 “For through the Law I died to the Law, so
that I might live to God.
20 “I have been crucified with Christ; and it
is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in
me; and the life which I now live in the
flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who
loved me and gave Himself up for me.
21 “I do not nullify the grace of God, for if
righteousness comes through the Law, then
Christ died needlessly.”

Jesus keep me near the cross
There a precious fountain
Free to all a healing stream
Flows from Calvary's mountain
In the cross In the cross
Be my glory ever
Till my ransomed soul shall find
Rest beyond the river
Near the cross a trembling soul
Love and mercy found me
There the bright and Morning Star
Shed his beams around me
In the cross In the cross
Be my glory ever
Till my ransomed soul shall find
Rest beyond the river
Near the cross O Lamb of God
Bring its scenes before me
Help me walk from day to day
With its shadow o'er me
In the cross In the cross
Be my glory ever
Till my ransomed soul shall find
Rest beyond the river
Near the cross I'll watch and wait
Hoping trusting ever
Till I reach the golden strand
Just beyond the river
In the cross In the cross
Be my glory ever
Till my ransomed soul shall find
Rest beyond the river

Hear the joyful sound
Of our offering
As Your saints bow down
As Your people sing
We will rise with You
Lifted on Your wings
And the world will see that

I'm forgiven
Because You were forsaken
I'm accepted
You were condemned
I'm alive and well
Your Spirit is within me
Because You died
And rose again
Amazing love
How can it be
That You my King
Would die for me
Amazing love I know it's true
It's my joy to honor You
In all I do I honor You
You are my King
You are my King
Jesus You are my King
Jesus You are my King
Amazing love
How can it be
That You my King
Would die for me
Amazing love I know it's true
It's my joy to honor You
In all I do I honor You
