Plan Insurance Brokers beat Allianz to ‘Trade Insurance Provider of the
Year’ title at Car Dealer Magazine’s industry awards.
Motor Trade Insurance specialists Plan Insurance Brokers were named Trade Insurance Provider of the Year at the
Car Power Awards. The awards are based on a nationwide survey of car dealerships and aim to highlight the best
suppliers for traders to do business with.
It’s a significant coup for the commercial motor brokers. Plan - who were also victorious at the recent Family
Business of the Year Awards - beat off stiff competition from the likes of global insurance powerhouses: Allianz, NIG
and previous winners Aviva. The company is well established in the industry having been trading since 1989 but their
resources are dwarfed by the household names they were up against.
About the Car Power Awards
The prestigious awards, in their seventh year, are organised by Car Dealer Magazine. Each year the publication
conducts an extensive survey of its readership to find the best products and providers available to the car dealer
market. The winners include cleaning chemicals, warranty providers, vehicle manufacturers and many more
suppliers to the trade.
Small enough to care, big enough to count
Plan attributes a large amount of the success to their obsession with customer service. The firm has received a gold
standard award three years running from independent feedback company Feefo. This rating is based on nearly
2,000 reviews all of which are published for the public to read, good and bad.
The brokers arrange cover for over 7,000 motor traders as well as a significant commercial motor insurance markets.
Their team of (circa) 70 agents deal area able to offer highly competitive rates thanks to an extensive panel of
leading motor trade combined insurers, many of whom Plan beat to the title.
Significant amounts of time and effort are invested into their bespoke IT software that is developed in-house in order
to streamline processes. However technology is always used as an aide to improve customer experience rather than
govern it.
