Routine Care of Wet Dry Vacuum

Empty the container after every use. Liquids left in the tank will
grow bacteria and smell.
Rinse and clean the tank after every use. Run the vacuum motor
for one to two minutes to help to dry it out.
Wipe the exterior of the machine down using a damp cloth and
a soapy solution. Inspect the cord for damage and frays. Do not
use the machine if the electrical cord has been damaged. Have it
replaced by an authorized technician.
Inspect and clean tools and hoses.
Check the filter on the vacuum. If the machine is to be stored for
any length of time, remove the head and filters to allow the machine to dry out. This will extend the life of the unit.
If the machine is not picking up properly, check the following:
• Ensure the filters are not plugged. Replace or clean as required.
• Inspect the gasket between the head and the tank.
• Look for debris or obstructions in the hose and tools.
