Introduces old traditional knowledge in
management of agricultural land.
Knowledge is evaluated and updated by experts
Approach does not exlude sustainability-oriented innovative practices
Holders of this knowledge and users are mainly small farmers.
Objectives of the project:
Implement approach of Agroecology in the development of
sustainable agriculture
Learn about the concept of agroecology and exchange of views on the
importance of agro-ecological knowledge
Develop a learning strategy based on agroecological methods and
experimentation
Examine ways of acquiring and transfering knowledge.
Design training module for teachers and trainers
Teaching aids and tools tailored for the transfer of informal knowledge
Awareness building about the complementarity of non-formal and
formal aquired knowledge
Activities:
Local groups will be collecting and analyzing traditional practices.
Participation in the development and testing of training modules.
1. Overview of the current state of agroecological knowledge in the area.
(video, audio recordings, reflective approach).
2. Collected data included in educational program
for training of teachers and advisors.
3. Comparative analysis of the collected material
based on the experiences and test training
4. Selection of teaching methods and didactic approaches ( teacher in
the role of facilitator / mediator / catalyst)
5. Training modules adapted to local specifics as a complete unit for
the transmission of traditional (agroecological) skills in non-formal
education
