Islam is an Arabic word which means
peace and purity achieved through
submission to the command of the one
true God
Anyone who freely and willingly submits
to God’s command is a Muslim
Islam is a set of beliefs and practices that
form the complete way of life
Who is Allah? God.
He is Allah , the Creator, the Inventor, the
Fashioner; to Him belong the best names.
Whatever is in the heavens and earth is
exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in
Might, the Wise (Quran 59:24)
Who is Muhammad? (PBUH)
Final Messenger to Mankind
“And we have not sent you except
comprehensively to mankind as a bringer
of good tidings and a warner. But most of
the people do not know.” (Quran 34:28)
What is the Qur’an?
Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which
is most just and right and gives good
tidings to the believers who do righteous
deeds that they will have a great reward.
(Quran 17:9)

complete authority over destiny

Pillars
1) Shahadah - Testifying belief
2) Salah - Daily five prayers
3) Zakah - Yearly Charity
4) Sawm - Fasting the month of Ramadan
5) Hajj - Pilgrimage to Mecca once in a
lifetime
Islam is founded on five pillars; to testify that ‘there
is no deity except Allah and Muhammed(pbuh) is the
messenger of Allah’; to establish the ritual prayers;
to give charity; to fast during the month of Ramadan
and to perform the pilgrimage to Makkah
Allah (God) is the Only One worthy of worship
Muhammad (pbuh) is His Final Messenger
Qur’an is the Final Message to All Mankind
