What you can expect
In our unit Global Ecotoxicology, you will work in a multidisciplinary team and
supervise ecological and ecotoxicological studies on terrestrial organisms (birds,
mammals).
o In this context, you will develop new experimental approaches for laboratory or field
studies and ensure that they meet the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
o You will also participate in the data analysis as well as in the evaluation and
interpretation of the study results, which in turn will be the source for conducting
risk assessments for crop protection products.
o You will closely cooperate with colleagues and scientists, represent the interests of
BASF to authorities as well as in expert committees and lead individual projects.
What we expect
o You have completed your studies in biology, environmental or agricultural sciences,
preferably with a Ph.D.
o Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in ornithology and/or
mammalogy.
o You possess a thorough understanding of ecological and ecotoxicological
processes and you have actively been involved in project management before.
o You are also well acquainted with the common standard IT applications and are
versed in using your excellent English language skills on a daily basis at work.
o In addition to working highly goal oriented, you drive innovations, communicate
effectively and collaborate for achievement.
